Anyone tell me what one I should get 100D, 1300D or 700D? Or the clear benefits of one over the other?

I'm a beginner with limited skill and knowledge of DSLR's. Currently in the processes of getting a refund on a Nikon D3200 (big ordeal with Nikon failing to repair) so not looking to compare with any Nikon's.

Not overly fussed about video uses as it will be mainly used for photography.

Go for a Canon 60D, bit older than the others but better made and will be identical in terms of performance. xxD cameras are slightly larger than xxxD cameras but the trade off is that you get the top LCD for making quick settings changes and will be more comfortable to hold. Better battery life too.

80D has just come out so eBay will probably have quite a few 60Ds from people upgrading.

I agree with Janesy B, there have been some reviews of the 80D suggesting it is a good up grade for 60D users. As 70D users will not see too much of an upgrade for the additional cost of selling their 70D ( ie additional depreciation because of the 80D ) and purchasing new 80D.

Thanks for the replies.

I can see the benefit of going second hand, obviously great savings and camera's to be had. However after my experience with the Nikon I purchased brand new last year, I'm not overly confident in buying something without a warranty attached to it at the moment.
