And £25 I can understand for a cap, but Quicksilver?
don't think I have ever paid more than £5 for a cap, even £5 is expensive, caps cost like 50p to produce.
actually most people down here (Newquay) that wear Quicksilver are actually surfers or skaters.
I was at the local shop yesterday and in comes the son of the guy who works there. He drives a kev'd up 206 with a dirty great exhaust and Quicksilver stickers on the side. He'd bought new numberplates with illegal fonts and Quicksilver at the bottom where the manufacturers name/advert normally goes.
Dressed like the biggest chav I've ever seen.
Perhaps it's regional.

Lol, that's what I love about this forum. Top quality (?!) debate on the lightest of subjects .
Basically I need a cap to protect my bonce when I go on holiday as it'll be hot, and I hate all the chav / jjb sports / street thug style hats, and I'm into surfing and skiing so identify far more with that side of things. I could just get a £1 red one from Wilkos, but then I'd look like a tool. Though some of you seem to think I'll look like that with the two I've posted lol.
Anyway it's been insightful and I'll be sure to post back when I've made my decision.
PS I'd be very interested if the people who said they disliked both could post an example of a cap they would wear, just for my own curiosity and to see if those people are in the same world as me taste wise.

Thats not the same, that chav hasn't put those stickers on there, there was a Quiksilver edition of the 206 (and 106) that had the branding from factory, including the logo all over the seat fabric, tacky but not chav...
Same thing with the Billabong edition Clio, Quiksilver is a surfer brand, not chav.
