Which card can i get with a 480W PSU?

You should certainly be able go to an X1950 Pro. Whether you can go further depends on the ampage on the 12V rails and on what the rest of the PC is.

PC Spec is:

AMD 3000+
Asus A8N Sli Delux
Tagan TG480-U01 480W ATX2.0 SLi Compliant Silent PSU
SB 2

Though I'm upgrading my CPU to an X2.

Any chance I could run a 8800gts?

That'll run an 8800GTS, but your processor will hold it back. I'd recommend an X2 as you said.

Do you have it overclocked or is it running at stock?

im running a x2 3800 @2.6 a 320mb gts @620/1840 and 2*120mm fans and a swiftech 120*2 water loop all from a tagen 480....so it will run a gts fine.

It is running at 2.1.

So, I should have no problems running a BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)?

Officially I think a GTX required a PSU capable of 30-32A - but it might be ok, numbers are numbers :)

For what it's worth though, I'd save the 100 odd quid, get a GTS and put the difference towards a newer CPU setup.

I need the card to run games at 1900x1200 though. Can a GTS do that?
