My card appears to have gone boom last night. I turned the PC off and then turned it back on this morning and no graphics! I checked my monitor on another PC and its fine, tried a different monitor on my PC and no graphics. I've yanked the card out, cleaned it and the put it back in - no joy.
I don't play games any more, but I do watch a lot of videos and especially DVD's on my PC. I use a 19" TFT @ 1280x1024. It must be a PCI-E card.
I really would prefer to stay this side of £80 as I don't need a high-performance gaming card. As long as it can pump out DVD's and other videos at high quality without frame loss then I will be happy.
So please suggest me a card!
