I have come across 2 cards and am wondering which card to put into my system the cards are:

Triplex ati hd3850 512mb
and
Bfg nvidia geforce 9600gt 512mb

Specs look similarish to me but i dont really know what im talking about when it comes to graphics cards

Any help with this is appreciated

Regards Jody

how much are you paying for these?

they are both very old cards and not worth £50

I'd suggest you get a 5670 or 5750 instead

depends which OS you're running, but you couldn't run games on both, it would be one or the other depending on which one is outputting video to the monitor

assuming you don't play games on all of them you could have one card to two monitors and another to the last one

not sure about that though because of the drivers

I looked at a few reviews, the two cards perform very similiar to each other. I guess it comes down to personal peferance.
Just slot them both into your system and install the relative drivers, then plug in two monitors onto the first card, and the third into the second.
However, may I suggest if you do plan to run both, use the 3850 as the main card? That way you can let the 3850 do the rendering and the 9600gt for PhysX? ;)
