Hi everyone!

Im looking at upgrading my graphics card im limiyed to somewhere between 50-60 quid ive been looking at either the nvidea 620 or 630 series? But I am out of the loop with what to go with? Can yiu huys point me in a good direction?

Many thanks!

Well for that budget you would be mad not to go secondhand..

For that money you could get a GTX460/470/560/560ti or a 6850/6870..

This is a comparison of how the 560 performs against the GT640 (a better card than your looking at): http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/612?vs=543

As you can see the 560 is much better (and all the other mentioned above are the same if not better).

The cards you mentioned in your original post will be awful for gaming, the minimum you want really if buying new for gaming is a AMD 7770, but like Doomedspeed says you can get MUCH better cards for second hand at that price.

Doesn't look like you access the Members Market here since you have only 5 posts, but you could always head over to AV Forums classifieds and get a similarly good deal.

I recently sold my old 6870 for the budget you're looking to spend, and that still played most games at medium/high settings at 1080p at 40 - 60fps.

The 7750 GDDR5 version is the lowest card you should consider new. Otherwise even an APU will outperform the card.
