Which card to replace 8800gtx cheap

for someone that plays minecraft 90% of the time, maybe the odd fps game

8800gtx just gave up and died, something same sort of power

cheap as possible

Minecraft really isn't that demanding. You'll easily get away with a GT640 or a 7750.

i know re minecraft, but the next thing he will want to play an FPS .....

a second hand 8800 might be the way to go..

Ive got an 8800gtx sat in my old rig in the loft, which was working fine without issues until i retired it 6 months ago, not sure what they are worth but we could come to some arrangement if you wanted it
