Sapphire ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB

PowerColor ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X 512MB

The XT-X is on offer for £330, about £15 more than the Sapphire one.

Which would you pick?

Cheers!

I'm not much of an overclocker tbh.

The only reason I'm not automatically buying the XT-X is because I want some people to tell me what PowerColor are like. I've heard excellent things about Sapphire and it might be worth buying one of their cards just knowing that support is readily available.

Have a quick read of this and do a little bit of googleing I think...

Grrrrrr the stars should be replaced by h e x u s (no idea why they are being blocked)

The gist is that if there is a large price diff between the XT and the XT-X, go for the XT as the performance gains are not all that significant, however for £15 I'd go for the XT-X for that extra 2 months of future proofing :p

Apparently the PowerColor Radeon X1900 XTX is has a lifetime warranty also. As I'm planning on selling this at xmas, it will look far more attractive to someone buying it than just a years warranty.

EDIT: Thanks for that link, checking it out now!
