which card

Hi, im looking at upgrading my graphics to a pair of 4850's (1gb).
At present i'm using 2 x X1900 xtx's , on an asus p5w DH mb with a conroe 6600 @ 3 gh. also i'm going to upgrade to vista 64 bit at the same time. i have 2 questions .... Will my mb slow the graphics and if not will i get a real notisable increase in preformance ?????
Oh yeh i use 1920 x 1200 res .....

cheers. but i'm suprised 2 4850,s in crossfire cant do the job, and cant afford 2 4870's, oh well just have to wait and save then

i dont think my MB is 2 x 16 when in crossfire but the asus site won't open the full spec page so i dont no . And it def isnt pci 2.0 ?????. but as i'm not into benchmarking is it realy going to make much difference in the real world
