I'm considering the Asus Xonar DX card. I'll mainly be gaming a using a headset (Goldring 100s) so my main consideration is getting good positional (surround) sound. I may listen to some music. I doubt if i'll ever get speakers due to space/noise limitations in the flat.
How does this card stack up against the more expensive D2 and D2X models? I'm willing to pay the extra cash, but not if the difference is negligable.
Are their any comaparable offerings from Creative?
