Which card...?

I'm building a media PC which will hook up to my HD TV for movies and so on.

I'm going to spec it with a BluRay RW drive and am looking to play BluRay discs from it, amongst other things.

Would a card such as this do the trick? Or do I need something more substantial?

I'm assuming it's simple enough to run an HDMI cable from card to TV as the main display out?

that card is good enough for media needs unless you plan to do some gaming

Won't be doing any gaming no, so long as it can handle BluRay them I'm happy

As for connectivity, it's just a case of cabling up the HDMI out from the card to my TV? Or am I missing something?

The ATI card is silent which will good for media, and it looks a little less bulky too (I'm using a low-pro case)

The ATI card is still good enough for your requirements however.

It looks pretty bulky though, I'd need to measure the case as the PCI & PCI-E slots are quite close together, and this card is nearly 3" wide with cooler.
