And still a possible chance to flash to a 6970
Also once flashed msi after burner will become fully unlocked and ive seen these cards
go as high as 1040mhz on the core with extra volts that is.
At stock volts your looking at MSI ATI Radeon HD 6970 Lightning performance providing
your shaders unlock when flashing and the MSI ATI Radeon HD 6970 Lightning is £320

The first one is quieter (see techpowerup or msi official site), while the second one is slightly better at overclocking afaik. This is due to a difference of default voltage. Though the second one is known to be unable to unlock the shaders since the recent batch.

It's true they can be unlocked, but if it goes wrong, it's game over since there is no BIOS switch.

this. It can be overclocked to practically be the same as a 6970
