Hey everyone, I have put a build together recently and need a Gpu for my build and I would like to stick with nvidia I'm thinking 1 gtx 680 or x2 480's for cheaper, what do you guys think I should do?

A good single card is always a better idea in my opinion but if the 480s are cheap, and i mean really cheap then it would be hard to turn them down.

Go for the 680 bud. I take it money is not so much an issue? If not, then deffo go for the 680.

2x480 is good and slightly faster than 1 680 however SLI can have complications and heat/power could be an issue.

Just my tuppence worth.

Totally agree. But like I said, are the 480s cheap? like stupid cheap?

So 300 quid for the 480's, or £420 upwards for a 680.

Id go for 2 480's if it was my money, but if you can stretch your budget to the 680 id do it, 680 would be far better overall

670 gonna be £300+ and will be between 7970 and 7950 power wise (rumoured). Maybe an option for the OP if he can wait?

June/July will give you plenty of time for research on what best suits your budget and there will be plenty of feedback given from the current users.
