Currently running BF3 at 2560*1440 on my GTX470 and i5-2500K, I have to make a lot of sacrifices in the graphics department, which card do you guys recommend to fix this?

Budget: Best FPS per £££ tbh. Not interested in paying an extra £100 to get 5 more fps etc.

Thanks for your help =)

Given the budget, getting another GTX470 to SLI (provided that your PSU and motherboard can support and handle it) is probably the ONLY option what will give you reasonable improvement, but you'd still have to turn MSAA OFF as the vram wouldn't be enough for both 2560 res and MSAA. It should hopefully allow you to play on High with FXAA.

I may have not made the budget very clear.

Any sum, £300 etc, but then when looking at the range of say 670's, you can pay £100 extra for a different branded one which is a couple of FPS faster. So I meant best value for money awesome card you would all recommend if you get me?

Ah sorry...thought you meant you are not prepared to play more than £100 :D

Yea...for BF3 at 2560 res and with a budget of around £300, it's up to you to decide between the GTX670 or 7970. The GTX670 is faster than the 7970 in BF3 at 1920 res, but not on 2560 res. See the below for the bench for BF3 at 2560 res:
