Which card is better value for cash?
i am torn between a nvidia 970 or the amd 930x 8gig card?
this is just to go in my old i7 920 setup with 8gig ram..
my card just went faulty and i want to prehaps get a 4k monitor or at least game at one step down from 4k...
what is the best bang for buck card guys ?

The 390 is slightly more powerful and has more VRAM but it has a higher power draw / TDP, even a heavily overclocked 970 is beaten by the MSI 390

The advantage of the 970 is you can get a mini version if that is useful

In that price range, it would be worth hunting around for a well priced or second hand 980

I went for the zotac 970 with batman game and has 5 year warranty -vat it's cost me £204 good value I think for an old pc ,
