Im trying to spec up my new machine but im not sure how far to go with the graphics cards.
Is getting 2 GTX285 2gb or 2 4870x2 overkill or should i just get 1 295?
Not really sure if it is worth the extra cash.
 
2x 4070x2 is definately overkill and 4 way x cross carries it own problems.
As for which of the others to go for specs and ressoultion your using please.
 
TBH, you should just stick with the 285 if you don't like ATI and want to stick with a single card... if not then the 4870x2, price is of it is amazing.
