Hi,

I will getting the following shortly...

AMD Opteron UP 170 Dual Core San Diego 2.0GHz 2MB Cache (Socket 939) - Retail (CP-148-AM) 323
DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-013-DF)
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS3 (GE2GB3200BDC) (MY-046-GL)
MSI GeForce 7900 GT 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-068-MS)
Enermax Liberty 500W ELT500AWT ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CA-025-EN)
Zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower (Socket 939/754/478/775) CPU Cooler (HS-015-ZA)

I was wondering what the best case would be?

I would rather go for better cooling as opposed to low noise BUT if possible getting both would a bonus?

Thanks

as you know the eclipse is 30 quid more 20 + 10 for the door....

Is that £30 justified tho? Is there really that much of difference or is more the design issue?

Is the pc7+ silghter smaller than the eclipse? Just wondered if it was slightly crap inside the pc7+ for my setup?

thanks rakiri for the pics....

thanks for the advice everyone....

so your all basically pointing me towards the PC7

Rakiri can you put a fan at the top above the arctic cooler....lol just saw a space so was wondering....also I notice its screws and not sliders for drives etc?

Rakiri is that third fan 120mm fan enabled near the graphics card? if yes doesnt it have to be fixed on to something? does it really make a difference considering you dont have a side panel? also I was told you should never keep your pc open due to dust issues?

how does the pc7+ differ from the akasa eclipse 62? extra ports etc?

Can I fit an akasa pro control unit to the pc7+ I think yes but just wanted to clarify....

Does the pc7 have front usb ports?

I really cant decide...and I need to order one asap....

I dont think I can change the buttons on the pc7+ looks a bit too techie for me

Lian-Li PC-7 PLUS Black Aluminium Midi-Tower Case (No PSU) (CA-054-LL)
Lian Li cases offer stylish looks and are lightweight due to their aluminium constrution whilst maintaining high levels of quality. With added fans front and rear to give good air flow through the case moving heat away from CPU and graphics card.

- Dimension: 210x450x490 mm ( W,H,D)
- Drive bays 4x5.25", 2x3.5", 3x3.5" internal
- Fan: 12 cm ball bearing x 1, 8 cm sleeve fan x 1
- M/B type: ATX & pentium 4 (max size: 12"x9.6")
- PSU Type:ATX
- USB2.0 x 2 IEEE 1394 x 1MIC x 1EAR x

the pc7+ only has 1x 12cm fan and 1x 8cm fan.....were as the eclipse has 2 x 12cm and 1 x 9cm I believe.....

please clarify....

Sorry when I said money was not an issue I meant its either between the pc7+ or the eclipse.... Why do so many ppl go for the eclipse then?

well spoke to OCUK just now who kindly advised me that they could not be 100% certain I would recieve the pc7+ with 2x 120mm fans and 1x 90mm fans....

See what has happened that their supplier/manufacturer has packaged each style of case (old n new) in the same box so OCUK cannot open each up to find out what I will be getting....(That said I dont know how many queries they get of this nature so practically speaking how long would it realistically take)

Which is a shame because after all this talk I would really like to get one.....

On a personal note when I was working in purchasing n supply if someone made such a request then we would go out of our way to establish and differinate between new stock and old stock....If anything this is actually good stock rotation/management within the warehouse and more importantly then your customers know what they are getting so great for your customer service aswell.....

Oh well......

Thanks for your help guys :D

I got me case today and it has 2 x 120mm fans heheheh YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

I was thinking of fitting 2 x 120mm panaflows to it but as I bought the window panel as well I thought I would go for something with some colour....

Or am I better off going for 2 x 120mm panaflows?

Please help and if you think colour then please advise which case fan will add colour be very quiet and is a great cooler....

Thanks....
