Which case do you think ?

Bleurgh, I hate people asking for specs with eATX cases, it's always a pain to work out what fits xD

The Silverstone Fortress FT02 is the Daddy of aircooling, and at only £200 is a bit of a steal as well.

It should fit your Motherboard and GPU, as the motherboard supported size is 12" x 11", and the Asus site says the Maximus IV extreme-Z is 12" x 10.6". The 7970's are only 10.x" long and the FT02 supports up to 12" cards.

That being said, I imagine for that kind of money, people might actually recommend you get other cases instead. Pretty much one of the kings of cases altogether right now is the Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra.
It will quite literally swallow anything you throw at it, and is packed full of features.

Other options, are, well at that price range, pretty much anything... But I imagine the two I've suggested are the best options. If you wanted to watercool I'd be suggesting the Silverstone TJ11 as well, but for non-watercoolers, it's not a great case...

MY budget for the case is £450, air cooled,

the hardware

Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z Intel Z68 is the motherboard
the graphics cards are Asus HD 7970 X2

the only parts which may affect the size of the case that I can think of.

holy crap £450 on a case o.O

personally i like this case http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-076-NX&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=35

that would be the max i would spend on a case too, id rather have better internal parts :P

King Damager , someone said in the reviews on the overclocker.co.uk page for the Cosmos 2 , that case is not meant to be any good for air cooling, if you were building a pc for yourself what would you go with based on my computer parts ?

here is the said review:

Brought this case about a month ago. The case is simply amazing, soo many options with good options for upgrading.

It was by far the easiest case to install components into, and has the best cable management system to date.

The materials used to make this case are a real high quality. Cooling on air isn't the best option for this case, so my advise is to use only water cooling for this case. I'm using air at the moment and my temps have gone up from my old case which was a Thermaltake Spedo.

The only thing i would say as a negative is the front 200mm fan isn't that great and doesn't shift much air, my advice would be to change it for a different one. But being as this case is 350 they should have put a much better front fan!

Also the fan controller on the case makes my fans make a ticking noise on the low to medium settings. The fans i'm using are Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1900rpm.

If you personalty were buying a case for a pc with my spec what would you go for ?

I noticed over clockers don't sell the fortress 2 anymore.. :(
