Right i'm sick of my coolermaster wavemaster and lack of options with it, it seems if I want todo anything in my case I will have to cut holes here and there and the fan options are a joke it doesnt cool that great.

I was looking at a budget of anything upto the Lian li 1000 and below, I need a case in this priority.

1, looks good
2, great cooling
3, plenty of space to easily put the pc in/add remove content
4, look good with a window

What would you suggest?

I know my budget theorhetically is £130 or whatever, but most likely im looking to buy second hand.

Is the V600 anygood? I like that grill design of the v1000/v600

And will the Seasonic 500W psu fit in the Lian Li v1000+? I heard some dont fit?

v1000+ will fit any PSU, its the v1000 that only fits about, erm, 10.

The v600 offers the same sort of cooling performance as the Wavemaster, WJA96 is reporting its fine with a conroe but if it is struggling with a dual core pentium I say it has cooling issues personally.

Same as suggested above, all good cases.

Yeah I will try, I dont see many on for sale section, good cases i guess people dont want to part with them, I wouldnt want to.

You might want to look at the CM Mystique 631. It was originally supposed to be a successor to the WaveMaster (early samples of the Mystique had the WaveMaster logo on them, in fact). But I believe it's a lot better than the WaveMaster in several areas:

- It looks much better (imo).
- Much better cooling; it has 120mm intake and exhaust fans which are better and quieter than the Wavemaster's 80mm fans. The side panel has an adjustable CPU air duct and a video card air vent.
- It has special holes at the back for water cooling tubing - but that doesn't mean the air cooling isn't great.

OcUK's version comes without a window, but according to CM's site a side panel with a window is available for it. (Or you could mod.)

It's a real nice case, but I think I like the look of the v1000+ too much now lol, the holes at the front that lets the light out of your case looks awesome on some pics, I was chatting to someone on MSN the other day that said they might sell theirs to mine because they saw this thread, who was it? I forgot who you are sorry.

Fair enough; Lian-Li are great quality and if the looks are to your taste then I doubt you'll be disappointed with it. :)

I considered Lian-Li also but ended up liking the looks of the Mystique too much ;)

My Wavemaster has great cooling since Ive put a 120mm fan on the side blowing on the cards. The cards have dropped at least 10c and with the cards being much cooler, so is the cpu too

I don't like blue lights. They make baby Yewen cry. :(

Potential is there for some cracking mods though on the v1000+, has a lot of potential if you have the vision for it.

I use ultra violet light, purple colours aswell as orange would shine out of a v1000+ if I had one.

The mystique looks very nice, what are those purple things on the cd drives, stupid queston i've seen loads of them before but I never knew what they're for.
