Antec Sonata £30

Cooler Master Ammo £40

but i dont know which one, which would you suggest, the system to go inside it is as follows

AMD A3000+ clocked to 2.5Ghz
X1800XT 512
400Watt Akasa Paxpower PSU.

also been offered a dented and modded coolermaster cavilier mk3 for £25

For me it would be between the Antec cases, although I would personally take the Lanboy.

I would not take a Ammo, especially considering the Lanboy is leaps and bounds ahead, in just about everything bar pukeability.

could you go into a little more detail ? the last time i bought a case was in 2000, im still using it :D basically a large form factor generic grey box with a handle moulded into the design and no front connectors. i had to use bolt cutters to tear a whole for the 120mm fan at the rear.

The lanboy is a nice enough looking case; on the smaller side of things (one of the smaller ATX cases) light and portable for moving around. It is built well enough and its a nice price for one.

The Sonata is a basic case with noise cancelling in, I do not buy into the noise cancelling cases personally as I find that I am able to make a all aluminium case silent, which is good enough for me.

The Ammo, its probably worse than what you have at the moment, and the newer ones at least have serious build quality / quality control issues thanks to coolermaster.

Have used one of the series of antec case and they are good with some nice design features but for me they're a bit too bland and lack that "thing" that makes a case look good.

Out of the three the super lanboy get my vote, but might be worth having a look at coolermaster's offering. I personally have a coolermaster centurion 530 and it is a cracking case for the money; looks good, good features and most importantly the price is right!
