**********NEW CASE PICTURES POST #10**********

I'm looking for a new case but im unsure what good makes are and whats the best as its been years since i bought a new one.

Currently im looking between:

Thermaltake VK60001W2Z Element S
Coolermaster HAF 922
Antec 902

I want something of good size but not "full tower massive" and i want good airflow with big fans!:D I also quiet like the idea of the seperate psu compartments at the bottom and easy cable tidy setups.

What else is out there and what would you guys recommend?? I'd like to spend between £60-£90.

I'm currently using a coolmaster wavemaster with 6x80mm fans and its pretty loud so id like something thats reasonably quiet as well or has the option to turn fans down.

Thanks for help

ive got the haf 922 and its a solid case two 200mm fans with the window version and three 200mm with the normal side panel but the windowed version but definatly go for the window version as the side fan messes with the air flow and with the window you can fit a bigger cpu cooler in

ok i ordered the haf 922. i liked the element S but wasn't sure whether the 5870 would fit in.
I ordered the window version as i think it looks abit smarter as well.

Yeah, i just measured my desk and now realised its going to stick off the end quite a lot -.-.

See how it goes when it arrives tomorrow. :)

Also do you have a fan at the bottom of the case, apparently you can put a 120mm at the bottom next to the psu and im sure i read its for an intake, which seems odd for something on the base of a case.

its right chunky and be prepared for the all the dust this thing sucks in ;)
other than that its a good case, keeps everything cool.

Antec 300 is a great case - it's not massive but not too small either and has excellent cooling. The cable management is not great mind you, other than a hidden compartment for your PSU wires etc but still a great case for the $$.

Well I got my HAF 922 today, which i ordered from OC yesterday.

Heres the coolermaster wavemaster that i've had about 5-6years or more now that its replacing.

Here is the inside of the wavemaster about 2 weeks ago before i got my 5870 and new psu. it hadn't been opened a few years...

thought you would like to laugh, im quite impressed :)

Thats a 8800GTX hidden in the moon dust.

HAF 922 setup:

Picture of inside. It's my first attempt of cable tidying, im quite happy with it.

Had a 120mm fan lying around so put in on bottom fan space.

Overall im really happy with the case. its soooo much quiter than my wavemaster its untrue.

Only faults so far are that the top fan can rattle sometimes (i just bash it and it stops) and the window has some scratches on which is abit annoying but what can you do.

Just need to make sure i clean it so it doesnt end up like above :). Need to order some fan dust filters for base as well.

Thanks
