Gap to allow usage of PCI-e slot 3.

Currenty i have highly modded Antec900, with the addition of two 6950's and ridiculous high temp on gpu2 due to space restrictions in the case, i have to look at changing.

Any thoughts would be great,

Looking at 700D and 800D
Coolermaster ATCS 840
Haf X

that type of thing.

Cheers

Well out of what you have picked I would forget the Corsair cases they are not good at air cooling but they are great at watercooling builds. From what you have said I would say the Haf X would be the way to go as it has plenty of pci slots.

hey thanks guys, ill have a real good look into it this time before rush buying. The antec was great for single card solutions, additions here and there, way too cramped :)

HAF X. My 2x 6950's run at <70c even after gaming for hours.

Although annoyingly the shroud from front fan to GPU's doesn't fit. I'm sure you could mod it a bit and get the temps down more.

If you are considering the 700d and 800d then I would strongly reccomend checking out the coolmaster cosmos s. The versions on ocuk are different and more expensive but elsewhere it should be around £130 I believe, it really is top quality inside though not as big as the 700d and 800d if you wanted water cooling. I'd also reccomend the 650d but it can't house a 3xrad as far as I'm aware. Can put a 2xrad in the top though.

HAF X I'd say...

Mostly because whilst I love the K62, and there are a couple of logs on here of them watercooled I wouldn't say it was the easiest thing to do....

Also think the CM690-ii would fall down at the watercooling element.

On top of that as you've said the 800D doesn't have great airflow...

It really depends on whether you want to air or water cool.

For Air Cooling I'd get the K62 (In fact I did xD)

For Water cooling I'd get the 800D

Saying that, I have considered looking into watercooling the K62, so guess it might be an option...

Cheers chaps, it's only CPU to be under water, so running a 240 rad push/pull. Want the airflow for the mobo and gfx. Haf x has always been a good contender, that Lian li is huuuuge, corsair stylish but may not perform... Cosmos is pretty nice, Oo what to do :)

ive noticed there isnt that many fans in the lian-li? So if I have a twin rad 240, where do i put it?
The A70/71F feature dual 140mm fans and dual 120mm exhausts, you could fit a dual rad on the front fan mounts but youd need to remove the bottom hdd cages. Both can take a triple rad in the roof with either aftermarket top panels or by getting the existing panel cut.
