Had 24'' IPS HP ZR24W which was great for 1920x1200. Bought now BENQ GW2765HE which is not for me, 2560x1440 just everything is too small, tried scalling 120/125% bad on WIN 7.
Have time till Tuesday to return it. Why did i sell my HP after 8 yrs :(

Any good 34'' worthwhile buying for use with R9 280X?

If 2560x1440 was too small at 27", then 3440x1440 would be too small at 34". Looks like you're probably after a 2560x1080 34". I'm not familiar enough with them to recommend any specific model, but you should be able to get IPS, 144 hz, freesync, and possibly even a curved model at that resolution for your budget no problem.

AOC Q3279VWFD8 (31.5" QHD IPS, 75Hz, AMD FreeSync) Value-line or
IIYAMA ProLite XB3270QS-B1 80cm (31,5") WQHD IPS

I believe they use very similar panels. There really isn't much to split them though. Does the Iiyama have Freesync? If not, go with the AOC. If both have Freesync, just get the cheapest.

What he said. 3440x1440 34" = same ppi as a 27" 2560x1440 panel. If that's too small then the only other option at 34" UW is 2560x1080, and that's the same ppi as 1920x1080 @ 27", which IMO is soft as heck and looks rubbish.
