First of all I'm a DIY noob.

I want to drill some 11mm holes but the 11mm drill bit I just bought doesn't fit into the keyless chuck I have which I only just noticed says 10mm 3/8" on it.

So I was thinking of replacing the chuck with one that can cope with thicker drill bits. I've removed the existing chuck. The interweb says chucks usually come in 20 or 24 threads and you should replace your current one with one with the same number of threads.

The thing is the existing chuck has only 12 threads inside and the spindle to which it was fixed to has only 10.

This is my drill: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-0603973370-Cordless-Driver-Battery/dp/B005GIU1VO/

Can someone tell me what replacement (preferably keyless) chuck I should get?

I guess you're right; I might be expecting too much from my drill. I'm sure my brother will have a corded one I can borrow. Thanks for your help.
