Which codces for Vista?

Howzit guys

I'm trying to play some videos within Vista, now I can get them working under XP no prob with rellavent codces. However what codces do I use for Vista, any ideas?

Just grab vlc media player

well, trying to watch some avi files, WMP11 just askes for codces to play them..

I've found this codec pack to be useful. IIRC it only includes codecs and no programs you might not want on your system.

If you're running Vista X64 though you'll need to install the 64 bit codecs to get Media Centre playing video files and the 32 bit pack is required for media player.
