Case pics below - Can't decide on a colour so after a few opinions.

Thinking either Blue, White or Orange from the Bitfenix Alchemy range.

What would you pick?

The top two pics have my old cooler but you get the idea.

Ive had blue LED's and the whole thing gets bathed in a blue sea and all the other colours are washed out - it was horrid

Always white LED's :)

Still not bought the LED's yet - I have decided on the white though.

I am looking at the Bitfenix Alchemy Connect series at the moment but not sure what lengths I should be looking at.

The window is circa 400mm front to back. Should I aim for lighting to go the whole length of the window or just do 300mm of it?

Don't want it to be stupidly bright as it's next to my monitor.

Either that or would it be best to buy a few LED's and wire them myself

Standard lens LEDs dont have a very good light spread and are better for spot highlighting. You can buy flat top LEDs which have a good spread though and 12v strips mainly sold for cars work well too.

Hi Tealc,

The master of LED's has turned up!! :p

The ones I was looking at for DIY are from a competitor so I will not link/mention but they seem to be the same style as the Bitfenix I mentioned and come on a reel of up to 5m in 5cm strips requiring a 12v & -ve connection only.

Works out about £15-£20 cheaper if I DIY.

I'm just not sure whether it would be too bright in the case?

Edit: Just noticed your a Capo now...:)
