I'd take an Asus mobo over an Abit baord......if the ram speed is the same then take the asus kit

well form what I googled around, and especially in Asus forums,
there are a lot of ppl complaining of not getting 1066 mem module running stable.

I mean all users with pc8000 & pc8500 had to run their mem at pc6400 in order to get stability

Most likely reason for that is the ddr3 support
