Which Compact with a £400 budget

Hi Guys

Budget is £400 but would like to spend less if possible

Sony RX100i/ii or Pentax MX1

Or is there other options? Mainly for family pictures, outings, parties and holiday.

Would like to be able to pocket it or place in the missus handbag without her moaning

If I purchase an imported RX100 is it still covered under Sony warranty or will they not accept it?
