Hi guys.

I'm looking to upgrade my pc - I generally do this piece by piece as my salary isn't that high.

My current components are (according to Speccy):
Intel Core i5 4670 @ 3.40GHz
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. H81M-S2PV (SOCKET 0)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 (Gigabyte)
238GB CORSAIR FORCE LX SSD (SSD)
465GB Hitachi HGST HTS545050A7E680 (SATA)

I know everything I have is older tech but which could do with an upgrade for gaming (specifically MMOs). I'm looking for decent budget pieces with a limit of probably £150 (I'm fine with being behind the curve by a few years).

GPU would be your next best upgrade (plus depending on the games you play, adding another 8gb of ram could help), what PSU are you using though?

I have no idea the model but it's an 850w. I had some power issues a few years ago and decided to get a decent wattage.

Right now I would hold on to your money, keep saving, and go for a GTX1060. With your budget you can get a 1050ti, but while there is a difference I am not sure you would even notice it. A 1060 on the other hand is significantly faster and you really would notice that! It's another £50 on your budget but so much better you really should consider it.

I would be inclined to go for a used gtx 970, should be able to get one in the region of 130-150 and performance is only a little under a 1060 3gb I believe.

GPU, definitely. A gtx 970 is quite a good idea although if you can save up for a 6GB gtx 1060 then that will sort out this element of your pc for a decent while.
