wondering which conroe to get either 2.4g or 2.67g at stock ive got a x2 4400 at the min will ther be much performance gain ?
anyone help ! :confused:
 
ther will buts its worth saving ya pennies and waiting for DX10 and until quad core comes out the prices may drop more thn
 
Just gone from an OC'd X2 3800+ to E6600 'Conroe' and the performance boost is astonishing - depending on what you are doing, it is a great upgrade, but only if you *need* the boost...... ;)

Sensible money is the E6300 or E6600......value-for-money has to be the E6300 (stock 1.86GHz and often capable of at least 50% OC !)
