Which console?

Xmas bonus just came in and I am looking for a gaming console. I don't fancy the Nintendo WII, I am considering either 360 or PS3? Advice on which? I am learning towards PS3 with the new GTA coming up.

I think 360 looks like a better console, wasn't aware that GTA was available on it. Looks like its the 360.....

What are the different 360 models? Is it worth going for the 'Elite'?
