So now you've changed your argument to include " for the cash " . :D

I payed a little more for the H100 and I get a little more performance, a much nicer look and more space in my rig. You get what you pay for. I checked loads of reviews before going for a CLC option, and yes, top air coolers are almost as good. ALMOST !

I've had both and prefer CLC.

Less performance actually. Top air are better.
 
....well the overclock3d one is proving us right... theres like one or two occassions where the h100 is doing better and I bet it sounds awful. Unless he changed the fans... and those seem quite old results wise tbh.

Not at all mate. Check out Vortez reviews and you can see H100 with 4x fans at 2600rpm is .75c better then Phanteks with 3 fans at 1200rpm. So from whisper to roar for .75c.

Have heard some specs on new Silver Arrow SB-E Extreme saying it's several c cooler than Phanteks so H100 looses again.
