which cooler?

about to build my first proper pc in 10 years!

thinking of getting the Corsair 650D case, and will need a psu and cooler, i see ocuk have three bundles on this page, with a cooler, but wondering if they are a good option?

i will be having a 2600k cpu and plan to attempt overclocking

Get a good air cooler in my opinion. Sonething like the thermalright silver arrow.

As mentioned get a good air cooler. Which one depends on how much overclocking you are planning on doing.

Take a look at these

Thermalright Silver Arrow
Phanteks PH-TC14PE
Noctua NH-D14

They are huge but very good at cooling.

Also if you go for one of these don't buy memory with tall heatspreaders.

The corsairs dont really have any advantage over a good air cooler. Performance is similar, noise levels are similar yet they cost more on average. Stick to a good air cooler in my opinion.
