Hi will this be ok to cool a amd 3600x upwards to 3900x or 4900x

AMD's TDPs are more honest than Intel's and without manually changed settings Ryzens won't ever be pushing 200W under full load.
(max peak toward 150W)

Scythe Mugen 5 would be another same level cooler at better price with full memory clearances.
BeQuiet hasn't mastered the dark magic of making offset fin stack and fan protrudes into space of one DIMM slot.
Though at the moment only slow fans equipped PCGH is in stock with lower than standard version max cooling performance. (but also lower max noise)

Scythe lacks the marketing hype brand/muscle of many brands, but has some very good products with very high bang per buck.
(just like Thermalright)
Like how raved about Noctua NH-U12A is, while costing twice the Mugen 5 for same level performance and doesn't even come bundled with proper screwdriver for installing it...

Mugen 5 uses default backplate of almost every AM4 board:

So as long as there's some hole in "motherboard tray" of the case from which you can make sure backplate doesn't fall of when detaching stock heatsink mount, motherboard can stay installed.
(lots of cases have long hand hole for that)
