Which Core2Duo?

I building a new rig, and want to base it on a Core2Duo. However, I am confused to which is the best choice. For example, the E6750 has a higher FSB and CPU speeds, and is cheaper than the E6600 - this doesn't make sense to me!

I will OC at sometime, but it isn't a high priority at the moment. I would like to spend less than £150.

What should I go for? (i'm not interested in a quad at the moment)

What are the trade-offs between them?

the e6750 is cheaper as its the new line of intel processors and they made them cheaper the e6750 is beter than the e6600 as intel did not drop the price on the e6600

Go for the E6750 you can't go wrong. Easily the best value chip atm.
