Going to be upgrading to a 900d and x99 within the next 2 weeks and will upgrade some of my watercooling stuff. I need a new CPU block as my current one does not support 2011. Any suggestions?

Also need to get 2x 480mm radiators + fans to go with them.

Have been using SP120's in push / pull on a 360mm SR-1. I was planning to stick with the SP120's but what rads should I get? I plan to run the fans off of 2x 8 port PWM splitters controlled by Asus AI Suite. Will probably go push pull on the bottom rad and maybe on the top as well but will see.

EK Supremacy are generally quite decent as well

Rad:
I'd say Black Ice Nemesis if you can source one from the U.S.
If not then RX360 or XTX360

If you insist to do push/pull, which is certainly unnecessary for recent rads, then you could go for thinner rads like PE360

Needing 480mm radiators but same difference.

Intending to run fans at around 1000 rpm, so was thinking about getting 2 of these

2 x Coolgate CG480 480mm Radiator - Black £87.95 (£175.90)

Cant seem to find much information on them.

Otherwise I believe Alphacool NEXXOS UT60 are a decent choice?

Either way probably going to just use 4 fans per rad and add another 4 at a later date if needed.

Wouldn't recommend Alphacool, their rads are infamous of being dirty.

Mayhems Havoc is a decent choice if you have the space and wouldn't want to buy Nemesis from overseas.

Never used Coolgate, and it doesn't seem to have a lot of reviews yet, so I wouldn't jump into brand just yet.

Hmm well the 900d has 110m of space iin the bottom and up top for 480mm's and i want to leave space to do push / pull if i need so the max rad depth is 60mm. I dunno will do some more research lol.

To be honest, push pull is really unnecessary now.

If you have a low fpi rad, doing push pull will only add noise to your system while giving minimal cooling improvement

Nothing wrong with Coolgate, they are the performance arm of Magicool. I have a CG360 and a G2 360. The CG360 beats a Thermochill 120.3 with fans running at 1200rpm or less. See Bundymania's review here, Skinnelabs review and a review of the new G2 360 is here. Performance of the 480 versions will scale similarly. They are excellent quality and you also get fan gaskets as well as a assortment of screws in the box. For the price they are hard to beat.

Thanks for that pastymuncher, coolgate looks pretty good but the RX360 v3 edges ahead slightly. Probably go for that depending on when OcUK get stock.
