I'm about to pull the trigger on my new Be Quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 case and hadpretty much decided on the matching be quiet! Silent Loop Superior Liquid CPU Cooler - 280mm but am wondering if the NZXT Kraken X62 AIO Water Cooling Unit - 280mm would be a better choice or if I'm missing something.

I can't find any direct comparisons and both seem to have solid reviews, so which would you guys go with and why? Is there any other option I haven't considered that would be better, Would a solid air cooler be a better option with me finally overclocking my 3930k?

Help!

Just had a look at both and i dont think the be quiet loop has any controling software so for that reason i would go for the Kraken.

Thanks for the response.... its frustrating that I can't find a comparison in regards to their performances anywhere though...

Silent Loop 280mm has copper radiator, proper threaded fittings, a fill plug, pump rated 72 L/h & 3.2w, and weights 1.574km nade by Alphacool
NZXT Kraken X62 has aluminum radiator, one time use fittings, no fill plug, no idea what it's ratings are, and weights 1.290km made by Asetek

To me the Silent Loop is the better of the two because it has better quality components and can be maintained and repaired if need arises .. Kraken X62 cannot be maintained or repaired. I have used lots of CLCs and a few AIOs that are not CLCs Silent
Loop is AIO, not CLC. Kraken is CLC. To me that makes a big difference.
