Heya guys, haven't posted on here for a while xD

I've just ordered a new set of upgrades for the pc, them being - 'AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 970 Black Edition "140W Edition" 3.50GHz', 'Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H AMD 890GX DDR3 Motherboard' and 'Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit', from having whats in the old sig, and I wanted to get an after market cooler, but I'm unsure as to what Maximum compatible CPU wattage: over 130W TDP. means with this cooler. Do I get an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 instead? Or an Akasa AK-CC017V2 Freedom Tower CPU Cooler? Seeing they dont have that certain detail in their product description's?

They are both rated for 130w but the Akasa is a far better cooler. I'd go with the Akasa if you intend to oc. If not the the Arctic Cooling.

Cheers,
vfm

i would go for the akasa, in theory is better, 120mm fan opposed to 92mm. plus its easy enough to switch the fan to anything you like. also from the picture it looks like it has an extra heatpipe which should mean more heat transfer

I have the arctic 64 pro cooler... its really good and silent like people have said.. so my suggestion is go for arctic.
