This is my last componenet i need to choose to order my parts. I was going to order the Noctua cooler but im worried about it not fitting because of ram.

5800x
MSI Tomahawk x570
x2 16gb corsair veng

Which cooler would be excellent for this setup which will fit perfectly without problems?

I have two on mine, i forked out for another A15 Chromax when i got it :D

Here's a link comparing the two Noctuas. Not much in it between them.

This is so frustrating for me. it will be my first pc build but it will suck ifi buy a cooler and it doesnt fit. i was orignally going to order this https://www.overclockers.co.uk/noct...cpu-cooler-with-dual-140m-fans-hs-03m-nc.html

i hate worrying about it not fitting with my ram. i don't want to cheap out on a cooler purely so it fits with my ram. im even looking at alternatives such as watercooling now just so i have good cpu temp and ram clearance :(

will the Noctua NH-D15S really be efficient for my build and give me good cpu cooling? im happy to pay extra just to have lower temps, please!

It is one if not the best air coolers you can get, better than most cheaper AIO's but they have new kit coming out later in 2021 inc White (they take their time).

The build quality is 2nd to none and their fans are probably the best but costly.

ok thanks. i will order the NH-D15S 140mm, it will 100% fit and give me ram clearance?
i just now need to find a computer case to put my new system in and im good to go. any decent cases you recommend

You need to look it up on their site for official answer not ask multiple random Q's here (in two threads) TBH as then the answer will be correct and final.

Unlike others they have charts/lists for Case and Mobo+Ram compatibility so you need to know what parts you are using.

sorry, im doing all this on a phone i lose track of what ive posted already. ive been 7 days without a pc im just desperate to have everything right.
this is what i have so far. i just wish people could babysit me and just reassure me everything will work and fit because all these errors saying about cpu and ram clearance scares me, i dont want to order something and it doesnt fit.

im just missing a case and im ready afaik, everything below should fit, ive done my best to research

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,356.00 (includes shipping: £11.10)

Already done the case thing he's got a corsair 400c which takes a cooler up to 170mm.

Must fancy a change.

yeah i wanted to go for a new case entirely for a fresh build. anything related to my old pc gives me extreme ptsd. i've witnessed my mobo and gpu burn at the same time due to something i have no idea which caused it, pc worked fine for 6 years then randomly shutdown. wouldnt post so i reassembled the psu and it posted but my gpu started to catch fire and thats how my mobo and gpu is dead :(

Those are full towers which are big the one i linked is a mid tower, do you neeed thd extra bays on the full tower ?

oh no i don't. w

Are airflow cases loud? the 275r might be something im interesting in. Probably the 5000D one considering the other one looks extremely ugly from the front.

Aifflow cases are not much louder as the fans are low rpm, thd 275r is an ok case for the money.

Best to check out some reviews.

I'm interested in this case but i notice it only has 2 case fans. i feel like i should get a case which has 3 fans, what do you think?

If you like the case just add another 120mm fan at the front like this.

Are these fans easy to install?

ok i've found the two cases i'm happy to pick. which one do you personally like to reassure me i'm making a good choice.

The hardest part about the build was finding a cpu cooler which will give me ram clearance. hopefully Noctua NH-D15S Dual Radiator Quiet CPU Cooler will be fine!

Nice case but thought you didnt want rgb

You will still need to add a rear fan and there easy to install.

Enjoy

i mean, i can just set the colours to default black right?
do you have any idea if i can build the entire computer and be able to flash the bios with cpu installed? i will have someone build the pc for me im just worried i wont be able to get the pc to turn on if the pc is assembled.

I believe so but im not 100% sure , the case is not in stock and only has a estimated date of arrival.

When you get your motherboard see if states it's 5000 series cpu ready on the box but it still may be ok. I personally would flash the bios without assembling the pc using the bios flashback method.

thanks!
