Haveing never built a shuttle system before im looking for some help,

My dads machine is starting to struggle, its an XP1700 CPU, possibley a 5400rpm hard disk, and PCI rage 128 pro graphics,
I suggested a shuttle as a replacement and the idea went down well,
Main uses of the system are paper work - word/excel/123 stuff.
music in media player but nothing to serious just a standard cheap speakers plugged in,
internet and email,
Photos, not a lot of editing going on but if a new system done it a little easyer it may change,

I thought if it was possible to do it for a good price just as well go core 2 but is this the best option for a shuttle?

the Shuttle XPC SK22G2 AM2 might just do the trick for you and it dont cost a lot
unlike some of the other models on the market

all you will need is a cpu, memory, hdd, dvdrw, and a better gfx but nout to power full for your needs
the 1 built in is ok but not for gaming

there is a silver version out in the g2 models but i think its an intel
but ocuk don't sell it
