Which CPU is worth it help please

My current build has a maximums gene v mono , Asus 660ti 2gb gpu and a Tauro 600W 36A 12V 80Plus psu now I want to know which CPU would be best for value was thinking of the intel i5 3570k or should I spend more and go for a i7? Also what would be good ram to install

If your main use is gaming go with the i5.

If you are just gaming then stick with the i5.

Personaly i would say that getting anything in the Intel Ivy bridge series - i5 / i7

try stay away from the AMD range inless you want to get a APU. Great for a daily pc but not so much for Gaming.

It's just for gaming for something like crysus 3 when it is out want the system to be running games that are released in the future

I was in the same boat but decided that the I7 is going to last a year longer than the I5 (personal opinion based on the core 2 quad vs duo experience) but its up to you, there is certainly not going to be a better chip than the 3770k for the V gene board as 1155 socket is now defunct so may as well max it out now if you have the pennies.
