AMD Opteron UP 146 San Diego 2.0GHz 1MB Cache (Socket 939) - Retail £163.27

Some questions before I order

1) Do you think prices are set to rise again?
2) Are the Opy's good steppings atm?

Imo, id get the 3700 because ive just clocked mine to 2.8 on stock volts, with a artic cooler. But i guess it all depends on what your using it for. hope this helps

I have a 3700 SD on 2.8GHz, stock volts also. Stepping is KACAE.

The 3700 has an 11x multiplier which helps with overclocks too.

The AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 90nm seem to be good clockers at present.
