Which CPU should I get?

I want to have a "play" with the new i3/5 platform; I want to get "best bang for buck" and a good overclock. The PC will be used after the playing for flight sim, pics and general office tasks.

Which of the 2 suggestions below should I get and why?

I have a Coolermaster TX3 to cool them and the 4850 as gfx.

I must admit I'm drawn to the i3; but would it be better in the P55 mobo when using a separate gfx?
