Which CPU temp for fan curve in the bios?

Hi guys,

I'm trying to get my head around which temp overall, the bios uses when I'm setting up a curve?

At the moment my fan speeds are all over the place! In the bios, I see only one reading for the cpu temp but with my apps in Windows I see multiples, as pictured above. Which one is it that the curve I see takes the reading from?

The bios will use the only CPU temp it sees.

I think you're more asking which temp in HWMonitor is the one the bios is using which will probably be CPUTIN.

Nice one, will try when I get home. To be honest though, at the moment temps aren't an issue - 5700x under an AIO, with newly applied MX-6
