Just bought a E6700 of the MM was going to upgrade my DL/Server pc which has only a E2160 in atm
But was wondering if i should install it into my htpc pc instead,this has a E8200 in at the moment
The htpc is the most used but would the extra speed out weigh the less cache on this chip compared to the 6mb on the E8200?:confused:
 
My suggestion would be keep the E8200 in the htpc, its a 45w part compared to the E6700 which would translate to a little less power usage etc.
