P4 1.6ghz or Celeron 2.4ghz (not sure if its newer Celeron 'D')

both are S478, no idea the speed of fsb, cache size etc

thanks

Wouldn't it depend on whether the Pentium in question is a 1.6Ghz Willamette (based on a 180nm die process with a stock vcore of 1.75) or a 1.6Ghz Northwood (based on a 130nm die process with a stock vcore of 1.5 and double the L2 cache of the Willemette)?

Either way, if the Celeron in question is a 'D 320' then I reckon that will be the toastier of both chips, especially as it's based on Intels infamously hot Prescott core. Tbh though, I doubt if there is any more than a few degree's difference between them both.
