Which cpu will work with this board so i can flash the bios

Ive already bought the parts

The board is ASUS M4N72-E SLI and i want to use the AM3 X3 425

The BIOS REV on the board says REV 1.01G so i cant use the AM3 CPUs

On the ASUS website it says the AM3 425 will work from BIOS 1003 but i cant figure out which cpu to buy in order to flash the bios

i need a cpu that will work with rev 1.01g but the format of the bios on the asus site is 4 digits and on the board its 3 digits and 1 letter

I think your mistaking the board revision number for the bios version.

Have you tried booting up.

yes but it wont boot. i dont know which bios i have because it wont it says no singal input. on the asus site it says the bios numberi s next to the model number

ive found it i have bios 1004. but why wont my pc boot. ive tried 3 9600gt althought i bought htem refurbsihed

You sure, the FAQ on asus say the bios version is displayed at the boot screen.

Also the worst thing about that site is that it doesn't list the bios versions by release date.

Makes it difficult. Very difficult.
