Hi, A bit new to this game. I wanted to know which CPU will give me the most frame rates with everything full on in Flight sim X and other games Either a duo E6800 or a Quadro QX6700

For games the E6800 will give a better benefit because it is clocked higher & no games can take advantage of quad core yet.
Nevertheless, I would recommend if you're spending that much to get the quad core because it will serve you well in future.
Frankly, neither are great value for money, I would choose an E6600 instead, you will probably never notice the difference & save yourself hundreds of pounds.

Many thnx for the info m8, I may just be tempted with a 6600 as I need to upgrade my mobo and memory too.

AMD 4400+, A8N32SLI DE LUXE, 2XGB CORSAIR 3200C2PT
BFG 8800GTX, RAPTOR 150GB, TAGAN 580W PSU

If I were you I'd get the E6600 and with the money saved buy some games or software to actually use the power of the CPU :)

An E6600 will be almost too powerful for anything decently programmed (cough* Rainbow Six Vegas *cough)

Obviously it can't be too powerful but I'm sure you understand what I'm saying :p
