Will be upgrading soon and just wondering, I was thinking of the Intel Duo Core q6600, but then I saw this:

What a cheap price? I mean is it what it makes out to be, is it better than the Intel or not, it's bein said as the gamers choice? not an expert on CPU's. Cheers.

) and the AMD X2 is dual-core. Whilst some of the AMD lines are well-priced, Intel's C2Ds are simply way more overclockable - the Q6600 can be clocked from it's stock setting of 2.4Ghz -> 3.6Ghz, on air. The even cheaper dual-core E2180 (on offer this week) can get similar gains (2Ghz to 3.2Ghz, ish) even with the stock HSF.
