Which CPU?

I'm looking to build my own PC and need choose which CPU ot of these two to get:

1 x Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £259.99
1 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £179.99
Total : £449.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).



I want to keep my budget to about £1000 and if i go with the i5 i can achieve that and have enough to purchase all the other components i want (whereas if i go with the i7 i have to compromise with other components)

I am looking to crossfire down the line so will an i5 handle that??

Any help is appreciated.

If it's for games you could save money and get the i5, if you're doing video/rendering get the i7.

So an i5 will work even with dual GPUs?

Remember to get a proper cooler so you can get a healthy overclock if you go crossfire.

But that will set you back less than the difference between those two CPU's anyway.

Haswell runs hot as heck.
